Olympic Lifting Training
Olympic lifting movements are regarded as some of the most physically demanding forms of strength there is. Although rich in specific technique, when executed correctly they can appear smooth and graceful. This class is intended to teach the forms of Olympic lifting including, the variations of each lift as well as related movements and mobility conditioning such as:
  • Clean
  • Jerk
  • Snatch
  • Hang snatch
  • Split snatch
  • Hang clean
  • Split clean
  • Overhead squat
  • Front rack squat
  • Push press
  • Correct drives and receives
The class also covers doing these respective movements with different equipment, such as barbells, dumbbells and kettlebells. We also mix it up with various barbell complexes. Despite this being a “technique” class rather than a “workout” class, it will prove to be a challenge for all fitness levels.
